Created by Darshankumar Joshi, son of Shri Manharlal Joshi, ParamJyotish carries forward his family’s Audichya Brahmin Jyotish heritage and its connection to the Bhrigu tradition.
His purpose is to keep that legacy alive: to bring the study of Jyotish into a thoughtful, accessible space for a new generation. Traditional knowledge, personal reflection and care for the practice belong at its heart.

What am I seeing in the sky?
A navigable star atlas with catalogued J2000 positions and traditional constellation line figures. It is an all-sky map, rather than a view for your current location. The star patterns and the twelve equal rāshi divisions are different maps of the sky.
How is my birth chart calculated?
No AI is used for astronomical calculations. Planetary positions are calculated with Astronomy Engine, then converted using your selected Lahiri, Raman or Krishnamurti ayanamsa. Houses, divisional charts and dashas follow defined calculation rules. Your birth time and historical UTC offset matter. Interpretations are separate from these calculations.
What does a free account include?
Birth and divisional charts, dasha periods, matching, readings and personalized Kaal-Darshan. Save private kundlis, write notes and export reports. No payment details are required.
What if my birth time is uncertain?
The ascendant and houses can change with the time. You can explore with an estimate, but read those results in that context. Birth-time rectification is not available.
Astronomy measures positions. Jyotish offers a traditional interpretation. Your choices remain yours.
